T-Mobile UK releasing Hero as G1Touch |

Right after Orange proclaimed that they are the release partner for Hero, T-Mobile got into action and tweeted out that Hero is their 2nd Android phone called G1Touch. G1Touch will be available from mid July and free from £40/month on Flext with £225 of credit including unlimited internet.

Adrian Ludwig from Adobe demos websites Flash and multitouch on Hero. It will be one of the first Android phones to get Flash support of which we have been hearing for a long time now. The transitions between windowed and full screen looks smooth, I wonder how will this work out on our relatively old and slow G1s.

T-Mobile has finally announced myTouch 3G(a.k.a HTC Magic). Hardware specs are similar to HTC Magic and the recently out Google Ion. As we approach year-end, there will be hoards of Android handsets hitting the market. The latest company to join in is Haier which displayed it's first Android phone, H7, at CommunicAsia 2009 at the Singapore. The phone sports a 2.8" touchscreen with 2MP camera, Wifi, Bluetooth, FM, GPS and will ship with Android 2.0(Donut).

Huawei announced it's first Android handset, U8230, at the CommunicAsia 2009 Expo and Conference in Singapore. Not much details available as of now except that it has a 3.5" touchscreen, 3.2MP camera and a 1500mAH battery. The phone will be available in Europe later this year.

Either this is fake or Dell engineers have gone too far with their love for Palm Pre's design. The handset pictured is running HTC's Chinese version of Android sporting a capacitive touchscreen and is supposedly a prototype for internal testing. Dell plans to launch smartphones in China later this year and this might be one of the handsets. ... [Read More]
